Outing to Ocean Park with Students with Intellectual Disabilities

Description: The Po Leung Kuk Yu Lee Mo Fan Memorial School hopes that the students will learn about different organisms, understand the importance of environmental protection, and experience joy and happiness while staying connected with the community. Volunteer Roles: Volunteers will first gather at the school in Siu Sai Wan and then accompany 12 students (aged 6–18 with moderate intellectual disabilities) to Ocean Park. To ensure their safety, volunteers are required to hold hands with the students throughout the trip. Encourage students to observe the marine life and learn about the importance of environmental protection. Meeting Location: G/F of Sai Wan Ho Hing Tung Estate Tung Lam Court Service Location: Ocean Peak Remarks: Meals are not provided so we encourage volunteers to bring their lunch expenses. All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for this activity.
