Clean up the Hiking Trail at Wilson Trail (Ma Yau Tong)

Description: The Green Hour Foundation welcomes you to join us for our regular Beach and Trail cleanups in partnership with Earthday.org! Join us for our fantastic community gatherings dedicated to cleaning up the breathtaking country trails and coastlines of Hong Kong. 🏝️ Together, we'll tackle pollution head-on, ensuring a cleaner and safer environment for everyone, all while getting a good workout in! 🏋🏻 Let's come together, make new friends and make a positive impact towards our environment! ⏰ Start/End Time: 10:00 - 13:00 📌 Meeting Point: Lam Tin Park @ 9:45am 📍 Hike Location: Wilson Trail (Section 3) 📏 Hike Distance: 4.5km ⛰️ Hike Difficulty: 2.5/5 Volunteer roles: ​- Volunteers will first gather at Lam Tin Park. From there, we will walk to the hike starting point together. - On arrival, participants will be handed bags, gloves and other cleanup materials, so there is no need to bring anything except for a huge smile, a filled reusable water bottle and tons of energy! - Green Hour kindly asks for a minimum of $50 donation per event (though we welcome more if you are able to, and donations of $100 and more are tax deductible), to cover administrative and material expenses. For domestic helpers, the donation amount is set at $30. Donations can be made in person or through Green Hour donation page. This activity is catered to individuals and families, not companies or schools. If you represent a corporation or schools and would like to arrange a managed cleanup for your staff or students, whether it be coastal, trails or urban cleanups, please reach out to us at hohk@handsonhongkong.org. Volunteers will receive a detailed service reminder email one day before the event. All volunteers must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. Friends or family members must also register and sign up separately.
