Get-to-know HK with Students with Intellectual Disabilities at Science Museum

Description: Volunteers will accompany a group of 25 students with intellectual disabilities to explore Hong Kong community This activity is arranged during the holiday to provide the students with an opportunity to relax and enjoy outdoor activities. The special school hopes the students can have a meaningful day out during the summer vacation and learn more about science at the Hong Kong Science Museum. Volunteer Role: 1.Volunteers will accompany the students on a visit to the Hong Kong Science Museum and ensure their safety. 2. Volunteers will accompany students to eat lunch (Volunteers need pay for their own lunch) Gathering location: G/F, Tung Lam Court, Hing Tung Estate, Shau Kei Wan Service locations: Hong Kong Science Museum, and Saizeriya Italian Restaurant ( New Mandarin Plaza) All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity.
