Data Analyst Champion 

Turn data into action that strengthens volunteer and community engagement and grows our capacity to serve a world in need. Map our data landscape: catalogue sources, definitions, owners and flows across Volunteer Experience & Operations and Recruitment & Community Engagement. Improve collection and quality: streamline forms and spreadsheets, set simple standards and checks, and reduce duplication. Design reporting that leads to action: define meaningful KPIs and rhythms; build accessible dashboards and reports (Excel first; Qlik/Power BI/Tableau if helpful) on recruitment pipelines, placement, capacity, attendance, engagement/retention (incl. Volunt-Hero) and feedback trends. Surface insights to strengthen community and belonging: analyse surveys and other feedback to enhance welcome, connection and operational excellence. Build data culture: create light documentation (data dictionary, templates) and coach staff and interns to use data confidently. Provide ad hoc analysis for the Head of Department and team leads. Shape simple, sustainable data practices and share your expertise with our team and university interns. What you'll bring: Strong numeracy and good Excel experience essential (pivot tables, lookups, cleaning, basic visualisation); Professional data analysis and/or project management experience ideal; otherwise several years’ work experience with clear analytical ability; Experience with Qlik or similar BI software preferred; A heart to serve alongside a dynamic, passionate and multi-cultural team. Time commitment: Ideally 3+ days per week for at least 3 months, to build momentum across multiple systems and stakeholders
