Description
Description: Volunteers will accompany a group of the elderly to explore Hong Kong community outside their neighbourhood. The elderly centre hopes that the elderly can enjoy a good day out and build social connections with the volunteers.
Volunteer roles:
Volunteers will gather at Kam Sheung Road MTR station exit A and then walk to the farm together.
Once arrive at the farm, volunteers will accompany the elderly to visit the farm and join the workshops to make handicarfts and enjoy the educational tour together.
The activity fee (coach and farm tickets) will be covered by HandsOn.
We welcome families to bring their children to join this activity together. Once the parents sign up for this activity online, please email the email addresses of the children's HandsOn volunteer accounts to check for availability.
