香港每年平均有近1,000個自殺個案，當中長者自殺個案佔總自殺死亡數字 44.2%，每 2.3 位自殺者中就有 1 位是長者，平均每日就有1位長者以自殺方式放棄生命。 . 隨著年紀漸大，長者面對經濟壓力、身體疾病等生活難題，容易感到孤立無援，甚至失去生存動力。你有冇諗過，一通簡單電話慰問，一個窩心探訪，可以幫助情緒受困及有自殺危機的長者走出情緒低谷，甚至挽救一個寶貴生命？現誠邀你參與「生命熱線」外展長者義工服務！一齊付出力量，讓長者得到情緒上的紓緩，重拾生命的動力！「生命熱線」服務簡介會 *(只需出席其中一場) 日期: 2/6/2025(一) 或 12/6/2025(四) 時間: 晚上7:30至9:00 地點: 簡介會以視像形式(Zoom)進行「生命熱線」預防自殺工作坊 -- 共三節 *(三節皆必需出席) 日期: 19/6/2025 (四)、23/6/2025 (一)及 26/6/2025 (四) 時間: 晚上7:30至10:00 地點: 基督教家庭服務中心201室 (觀塘港鐵站D1出口) 參加者必需完成三節工作坊，並通過選取，方可進入下一階段的「義工預備課程」，繼續訓練，詳情可瀏覽中心網頁：https://www.sps.org.hk/?a=doc&id=68 或致2382 2007查詢。
