Description
Young people aged 8–18 in Hong Kong to test our AI reading platform. Design your own character and set up your reading profile on the platform. Read and generate stories on topics you actually care about (gaming, space, sports, fashion, anything) and test the "hero of your own story" feature. Try the core tools: word-by-word audio, auto-read, text-size adjustment, and the vocabulary tracker. Note what's fun, what's boring, what's confusing, and what feels too easy or too hard. Give specific, honest ideas on stories, design, difficulty and fun-factor. Share your verdict as a short written review or a video (your choice, Cantonese/English welcome). Join one short kickoff call ~20 minutes to get oriented and ask anything

Remarks
- Diverse Talent is an initiative of Fun-Tastic 悠樂長,a Hong Kong NGO dedicated to fostering inclusion and empowering people from diverse backgrounds — supporting youth, seniors, refugees, and new-to-English communities. Through education, community engagement and technology, we create opportunities that help every young person feel seen, heard and able to thrive. Many students — especially those learning English as an additional language, or who simply haven't yet found a story that hooks them — quietly disengage from reading when the texts they're given don't match their level or interests. Everybody Reads is an AI-powered reading platform built to solve this: it generates personalised fiction and non-fiction stories calibrated to each reader's ability, lets pupils become the hero of their own story, and automatically assesses comprehension through the VIPERS framework. But a platform can only truly serve its users if it listens to them. That's why Diverse Talent is launching the Reading Ambassador programme: we invite young people aged 8–18 in Hong Kong to test the platform as real users, share their honest experience, and help us redesign reading for their generation. Every ambassador receives everything they need to hit the ground running, so this project stays fun and low-pressure.- **Full trial access** to the Everybody Reads platform, so you can explore, generate stories and test features freely on your own device.- **A guided kickoff call (~20 minutes)** where we walk you through the platform, show you what to try first, and answer any questions.- **A simple "Reviewer Starter Kit"** — a one-page guide explaining each feature (hero creation, story generation, word-by-word audio, auto-read, text-size adjustment, vocabulary tracker), plus a clear checklist so you know what to test.- **A flexible feedback template** — choose written, voice or video feedback; Cantonese and English both welcome.- **Direct support** — our Diverse Talent team is reachable by email and chat throughout, so you never feel stuck.- **Self-paced scheduling** — complete roughly 3–5 hours of testing over 2–4 weeks, from home, whenever suits you.- **Parent/guardian support** — for younger ambassadors, parents can join the kickoff call and coordinate, making participation easy and comfortable.
