Event Helpers (27-29 Mar)

Help us with our clothing swap event. Help move furniture, set up tables/rails, and arrange signage and zone labels (check-in, drop-off, swap floor, partner booths, etc.). Unpack, hang, and fold pre-sorted stock so the space looks inviting and easy to browse. Greet guests warmly at the entrance and explain how the swap works in simple terms. Check registrations or walk-ins, manage queues, and keep traffic flowing. Take in swap items: count or weigh pieces if needed, check basic condition, and tag or tally per person. Answer FAQs about what’s acceptable to swap, where to put things, and how to “pay” or redeem items. Sort incoming clothing by category (tops, bottoms, outerwear, accessories, kids, etc.) and suitability. Quality check: pull out damaged, stained, or clearly unswappable items and place them in the designated “donate/recycle” area. Keep racks and tables tidy: rehanging items, refolding piles, rotating stock to keep things fresh on the floor. Create simple looks on hangers or mannequins to inspire styling and show what a “swap-worthy” piece looks like
