HR and Learning & Development Intern (Dec-May)

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Intern to support our HR & L&D operations and help improve the process routines. Support volunteer lifecycle operations, including recruitment, onboarding, deployment, offboarding, and maintaining accurate records and administrative documentation.. Enhance volunteer engagement and communication by coordinating orientation activities, well-being programmes, and communication channels to ensure a positive volunteer experience.. Support youth development programmes by coordinating internship and mentoring activities, including orientations, workshops, mentor-mentee matching, and programme evaluations.. Provide training and administrative support through preparing learning materials, maintaining records and reports, collecting feedback and reflection data, and assisting with project-related tasks.. Drive HR and Learning & Development process improvement by identifying workflow enhancement opportunities, collaborating with the Data team, and exploring AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Perform other duties as assigned, As well as providing ad hoc support in the wider volunteer department operations as needed. Requirement: Age 17+; Commitment of 380 hours, at least 2 full-day (9:30 to 17:30) a week. Good communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese speaking is desirable but not a must) . Background in or strong interest in Human Resources Management, Learning & Development, Psychology, or related disciplines . Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Teams and application of Ai in work setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and wants hands on HR & learning and development experience in a meaningful NGO setting
