Be a Donation Sorting Assistant at Crossroads

Description: Crossroads Foundation is a Hong Kong-based, non-profit organisation serving global need. We believe that in a broken world that sees too much suffering, we should do all we can to link those who are in need with those who can provide help. So we provide a crossroads to bring both together. Global Distribution is one of our key services, distributing Hong Kong’s quality excess goods as needed, internationally and locally. It provides a crossroads between need and supply. Volunteer Roles: Sort incoming donations by category (e.g., clothing, household items, furniture, electronics, medical supplies, toys, etc.) and group similar goods together for easier processing. Inspect donated items upon arrival to ensure they meet Crossroads' high-quality standards (clean, functional, safe, and in good condition). Specialize in sorting, checking, and categorizing donated items to support smooth distribution to those in need. Remarks: All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for activity.
