Description: Volunteers will accompany a group of 30 students with intellectual disabilities to explore the Hong Kong community. This activity is arranged during the holiday to provide students with an opportunity to relax, enjoy outdoor activities, and explore local culture at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum. The museum brings to life the historic battles of the Qing Dynasty navy against pirates on the South China coast.
Volunteer Role:
Accompany students during their visit to the Hong Kong Maritime Museum and encourage them to explore the exhibits.
Provide physical guidance (such as holding hands) and constant supervision to ensure the students' safety throughout the trip.
Remarks:
-All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.
