Remarks
- The iGen Jamming Workshop is a vibrant intergenerational music event designed to promote learning, interaction, and community engagement through music. The workshop consists of two key components. First, the Interactive Music Booths offer participants hands-on opportunities to explore different musical themes and instruments, such as the ukulele and hand flute. Through these themed booths, participants can learn basic playing techniques, discover different musical styles, and enjoy an engaging music-learning experience.Second, the Intergenerational Harmonica Performance brings together participants from the Jockey Club iGen Wellness with Harmonica programme and local school students for a collaborative harmonica performance. This special showcase highlights the power of music in connecting generations, fostering mutual understanding, and creating meaningful shared experiences.Overall, the iGen Jamming Workshop celebrates music as a bridge between generations, encouraging lifelong learning, creativity, and social inclusion in a fun and interactive environment.
