Description
Description: The Karen Leung Foundation believes that information is power and that the more women know about gynaecological cancers, the more they can do to take an active role in their own health and the health of their daughters, mothers, sisters and friends. We aim to empower women all over Hong Kong with educational talks. These talks will help women to:
Understand how to protect and maintain your gynaecological health
Learn the risk factors for gynaecological cancer
Recognise the signs and symptoms of gynaecological cancer to detect it earlier
Prevent cervical cancer
Develop an individual health strategy and take an active role in your healthcare
Karen Leung Foundation is looking for volounteers for supporting the on-site logistic during the Community Educational Talk. Tasks include setting up, greeting, signing in for the guests, and packing materials back to the office at the end of the event
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity.
