Description: Ovarian and Cervical cancer are among the top ten cancers causing death in Hong Kong. Every other day one women dies of cervical cancer in Hong Kong. Cervical cancer is highly preventable when regular screenings and HPV vaccinations are integrated into health programs.
Karen Leung Foundation currently provides free HPV vaccinations for school grils. They are looking for a volunteer to perform reception duties, take student attendance and traffic control during the event day at the Canadian International School of Hong Kong. Volunteer will first gather at Karen Leung Foundation office in Central at 8:30 am and then go to the school together with the staff.
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity.
