Description
Experienced professionals with 5+ years of work experience to mentor and support young people in their career and personal development. Minimum 5 years of working experience in any industry; preference for industries commonly represented among volunteers. Prior mentoring, coaching, or supervisory experience is an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; proficiency in Chinese is beneficial but not required. Demonstrated passion for supporting the growth and development of others. Guide and support volunteers in career planning, professional development, and goal setting. Build confidence by sharing professional experience and encouraging innovation and a growth mindset. Support volunteers in expanding professional networks and, where appropriate, provide industry exposure. Mentors may be assigned up to three volunteers at a time and are encouraged to meet mentees in person regularly . Flexible time commitment; appointment is initially six months with possible renewal based on organisational needs

We will provide mentoring skill training and ongoing support via a mentor community group.
