2025/26 IMPACT Mentorship Program: Mentor

This year-long volunteering opportunity pairs youth mentors (ages 15–25) with underprivileged primary school students (ages 6–14) to provide consistent, one-on-one support focused on emotional growth, academic encouragement, and life skill development. Mentors will accompany their mentees through monthly themed activities and mini growth tasks designed around six essential competencies: identity & purpose, mental wellbeing, problem-solving, social awareness, communication, technological wellbeing (IMPACT). By fostering trust, empathy, and curiosity, mentors help mentees build self-confidence, discover their passions, and face life’s challenges with courage. Your responsibilities include attending an online mentor training, joining seven group experience days (Aug 16–18, Nov 15, Jan 10, Apr 4, Jun 27), and guiding your mentee through six mini growth tasks during the year. You’ll also check in with our staff and submit short reports to track progress. No tutoring or counseling experience is required—just a caring heart, a growth mindset, and a desire to make a difference.
