Remarks
  • Diverse Talent is an initiative of Fun-Tastic 悠樂長,a Hong Kong NGO dedicated to fostering inclusion and empowering people from diverse backgrounds — supporting youth, seniors, refugees, and ethnic-minority and NCS (Non-Chinese Speaking) communities. Through education, community engagement and technology, we create opportunities that help every person feel seen, heard and able to thrive. Our work runs year-round: youth education and scholarships, senior care services, community and cultural events, and outreach to new-to-English and ethnic-minority families across Hong Kong. Every programme is built on the belief that diversity is a community's greatest strength — and that lasting change requires committed people guiding the way. This is where the Executive Committee comes in. Diverse Talent is looking for a small, dedicated group of volunteers to help govern, shape and support our programmes throughout the year. Committee members bring professional or lived experience, offer strategic guidance, and help connect us with schools, community groups and partners who can extend our reach. Whether you come from education, social work, business, community service or simply care deeply about inclusion, your perspective can help a growing NGO serve its community better. Every committee member receives full support to step into the role with confidence.- **Full onboarding session** — a one-on-one orientation covering Diverse Talent's mission, current programmes, our community and how the committee operates, so you understand the landscape from day one.- **Committee handbook** — a clear guide to your role, meeting structure, governance expectations and decision-making processes.- **Regular committee meetings** — scheduled well in advance (approx. monthly), with agendas and materials shared beforehand so your time is used well.- **Programme exposure** — opportunities to visit or observe our youth, senior and community programmes in action, so you can see the impact you're helping to shape.- **Bilingual working environment** — materials and communication in English (and Cantonese where helpful), respecting your comfort.- **Flexible commitment** — committee participation is designed to fit around work or study, with support for any technical or scheduling needs.https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/ft-diverse-talent
