Description
Description: Volunteers will accompany a group of the elderly to explore Hong Kong community outside their neighbourhood. The elderly centre hopes that the elderly can enjoy a good day out and build social connections with the volunteers.
Volunteer Roles:
1. Volunteers will first gather at the centre in Cheung Sha Wan to receive a short briefing. 2. Volunteers will then accompany the elderly to take the coach to visit the North District Park and Fanling Wai in the Fanling area, enjoy visiting Sha Tau Kok Farm and making traditional Hakka Cha-Guo, also enjoy traditional Poon Choi lunch.
3. Volunteers will then accompany the elderly to explore and take some photos at the Sha Tau Kok Forbidden Land.
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.
