D2S:Mentors are volunteers who serve as co-pilots for our youth. We provide training and support to help them become trusted adult companions for F4 and F5 students. Together, mentors and students start from their own dreams, and through this journey, they complete a business case challenge.. D2S:Mentors are paired up for each group of F4/F5 students with the support from a school teacher. Commitment is from Feb to May, 2026, inclusive of training and onsite school workshop sessions. School workshop sessions (90-mins) can be hosted on weekdays after school (from ~4:00pm), or possibly Saturdays to be mutually agreed between teachers and mentors. Accompany students on Company Visit Day and enhance their exposure through sharing your own corporate and business experience. Remarks
- “The Foundry” is the flagship programme of Dream2Story designed to empower youths from under-resourced backgrounds in Hong Kong to (re-)gain a sense of self agency over their own post-school life. It is an experiential programme centred around a business plan challenge. Through a series of workshops, a company visit and mentorship sessions, students work in teams to bring their own dreams/passions into a business plan to be pitched against others in a competition setting. In addition to fundamental business concepts and entrepreneurial skills, students will have first hand experience in enhancing essential life skills such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking and problem-solving. We will support you with: (1)Briefings and session walkthroughs. (2)Professional mentor training to develop soft skills and enhance your ability to work effectively with youth, preparing you for student interactions. (3)Matching mentors with schools based on language preferences. (4)Ongoing support and guidance throughout the mentorship period to ensure a smooth experience. (5)Bi-weekly mentor social for mentors to connect and receive peer support. (6)Opportunities to learn from experience sharing by past and peer mentors.
