由社工、職業治療師講解護老友伴的角色及職責、教授義工認識長者生理和心理變化、認知障礙症患者的行為及情緒、中風患者的需要和照顧技巧、扶抱及轉移技巧、輔助工具的使用方法、陪診突發情況處理等，裝備知識及技能日後為需要的長者進行相關支援服務。
