Remarks
- Crossroads is growing its volunteer community and wants every volunteer and intern to feel valued, supported and connected throughout their service journey. This role helps strengthen volunteer engagement through appreciation initiatives, regular communication, feedback follow-up and community-building efforts. It also supports accurate volunteer data management and stronger coordination across departments, helping create a positive and consistent experience for everyone who serves with Crossroads. To help a volunteer get started, we provide a site tour of Crossroads, and an introduction to the department and role they’ll be serving in. We also offer practical guidance such as what to expect on the day, how to check in and out, and who to ask for support if they have questions. Additionally, we provide access to a computer and a dedicated desk space to support their work and help them settle in comfortably. Volunteers will also be supported by approachable and experienced teammates who can guide them, answer questions, and help them feel confident in their role from the start.
