Description
Help us grow Make It Better (MIB)'s online community! We're an initiative supporting Hong Kong children from low-income backgrounds and with special educational needs. We have recently launched bilingual (CHI and ENG) social media accounts across Instagram and Facebook to promote our services. We would like to utilise the accounts to develop local awareness and understanding of the programme and its benefits. The goal is to increase recruitment interest and enquiries and event sign-ups, through social media and through our website. Design strategies for community growth (initial target: 1,000 followers) and help to write and post content on a weekly basis for the Make It Better IG and FB accounts.er expectations you may have (e.g. experience using Canva is a plus). Develop innovative campaigns to increase engagement amongst population in target districts/communities, e.g. giveaway or launch event. Target audience: Parents, teachers, and social workers living in the above districts (Cantonese or English-speaking)

  • MIB works in local schools and community centres to offer children a free weekly programme of expressive arts groups designed to build self-esteem, confidence, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills. MIB also supports teachers, social workers, and caregivers of these children by introducing them to the therapeutic benefits of art.MIB is open to children, kindergarten and primary ages with diagnosed or suspected special educational need (SEN). We recruit our beneficiaries through schools and community centres that serve nine districts in Hong Kong. We also work with the primary caregivers and the professionals at the schools and centres. We operate in the following eleven districts:Kwun Tong, Yau Tsim Mong, Sham Shui Po, Shatin, Tai Po, Tsuen Wan, Kwai Tsing, Tuen Mun, Kowloon City, Yuen Long, Eastern Branding guidelines, images, and programme information, including testimonials, can be provided.
