Description
Calls for volunteers to help create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Date & Time: 13 Sep 2025, 7:00am -12:00pm. Volunteers are expected to sell flags for a minimum of 2 hours. Engage with the public and introduce our service to maximise their donations. Volunteers aged 14 or under must be accompanied by a guardian and share one flag bag. A certificate will be given upon completion as the volunteer returns the flag bag at the flag station. Group accident insurance will be covered for all volunteers. Details for flag bag collection and drop off will be confirmed via email. Registration Deadline: 31 Aug 2025

- Make-A-Wish Hong Kong will hold a flag-selling event on Hong Kong Island on 13 September (Saturday). With the theme of “Keep It Real”, the flags featuring Mickey & Friends in trendy street-style outfits, inspiring Wish Children to embrace their true selves and face their illnesses with hope. Make-A-Wish Hong Kong aims to deepen public understanding of the organization's mission and services, raise a fund of HK$800,000 to bring hope to children with critical illnesses through granting life-changing Wishes, and to support their hospital services. Make-A-Wish Hong Kong is now calling for 2,500 volunteers to help on the flag-selling day and support the organization to help more Wish Children embark on their Wish Journeys, empowering them to transform and make a difference. Volunteers will each receive a certificate of appreciation. Join us NOW to bring hope, strength, and joy to children with critical illnesses together!
