是次活動所籌得的善款將用於支持本會的經常開支及各項活動的經費，並透過不同活動支援不同特殊需要的殘疾人士家庭，從而推動殘疾人士家長的自助、互助及團結精神；以及增進公眾對殘疾人士的認識和接納。

- 組織簡介 鑑於當時學前弱能兒童的服務嚴重不足，一群家長團結起來，在八六年五月組成了「學前弱能兒童家長關注組」，策劃一連串行動向政府反映服務需要。關注組更於八七年二月正式註冊成為社團，並命名為「學前弱能兒童家長會」。二零零一年二月，家長會轉為註冊有限公司，使會務更有系統，管理工作更趨完善。本會為香港社會服務聯會會員，並曾於一九九三年六月獲得「傑出康復服務自助團體獎」。 一直以來，家長會貫徹各項宗旨，向有關當局爭取弱能兒童的服務。隨著家長與弱兒的成長，家長會除跟進學前、學齡及成人的服務外，亦關注與殘疾人士有關的法例，以及倡導家長積極參與推動政府改善服務質量的工作。 一九九六年，家長會獲房屋署批出鑽石山鳳德邨紫鳳樓一單位作為會址，同期獲「伊利沙伯女王弱智人仕基金」撥款資助本會兩年經費，家長會開始聘請職員協助會務。自1998年開始，家長會得到香港賽馬會慈善信託基金支持部份活動經費，與此同時，亦得到不同的基金贊助個別計劃的運作費，其餘經費則有賴熱心人士的捐助及機構籌募。 詳情可參考本會網站 https://www.parentsassn.org.hk/
