Description
Supervise and guide over 300 guests through our upcoming Gala Dinner and Charity Auction. To usher guests from their drop-off point to the venue. To greet guests and register their arrival. When prompted, usher guests into the dining room and assist them in finding their seats. Note the position of your allocated table(s); greet guests on your tables. Show your guests how to use the mobile bidding and donating function.. Stay close to your tables throughout the evening and be attentive to the guests needs. Ensure guests are happy– that they have enough wine, have been served the correct meal, etc. The AGATE catering staff will tend to everyone but please keep an eye on things. . Help track down and shepherd missing guests at key moments! . Be on hand to help with any tasks that might suddenly arise – and should your guests have any problems that you cannot resolve, please alert our team. Help to gather materials from tables after the dinner is over. Dress Code: Smartly in all black (cocktail dress, suits, no jeans or trainers)

- The Sovereign Asian Art Prize launched in 2003, increasing the international exposure of artists in the region while raising funds for programmes that support disadvantaged children using expressive arts. Held annually, The Prize is now recognised as the most established and prestigious annual art award in the Asia-Pacific. There are three cash prizes available to shortlisted artists. In addition, all finalists enjoy increased international exposure, top tier media coverage, and the opportunity to exhibit their work publicly in Hong Kong. Our grand prize winner will receive a prize of USD30,000, this will be chosen by our judges. There is also the Vogue Women’s Prize of USD5,000 and a public vote prize of USD1,000. The chance to experience a prestigious high-profile charity gala event.Training: A briefing session to equip you with essential information about The Sovereign Art Foundation and Asian Art Prize. Team Environment: Work alongside a dedicated group of volunteers and receive support from SAF staff. A staff meal will be included.
