Help with the planning and organisation of our marketing campaigns for PyCon HK 2026. Campaign Management: Plan and execute a marketing roadmap leading up to the event, including brand-building and performance marketing campaigns. Visual Content: Design social media graphics and website banners. Community Engagement: Manage presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram to spark conversations among Pythonistas. Newsletter & Copywriting: Write engaging updates for our community subscribers and draft speaker/sponsor announcements. Volunteers with interest in open source related topics preferred . Less experienced individuals may be considered as fellow volunteers instead of leads

Hong Kong Creative Open Technology Association (HKCOTA) is a non-profit tax-exempt organization / charity (Reg.# 91/13580) in Hong Kong founded in 2014. The aim of the HKCOTA is to promote Open Standards, Free and Open Source Software, Open Hardware, Free Culture Works, Open Content and Creative Commons. PyCon Hong Kong (PyCon HK) is the premier Python conference in Hong Kong, co-organized by the Hong Kong Creative Open Technology Association (HKCOTA), Open Source Hong Kong (OSHK), and the Hong Kong Python User Group, uniting Python enthusiasts to share insights and foster collaboration. Among the 50+ PyCons hosted annually worldwide across various cities and countries, PyCon HK proudly stands as a key member.The PyCon HK executive committee comprises a group of experienced elite volunteers from diverse technical backgrounds and various industries. Whether you simply want to volunteer for the greater good or meet people with similar interests, it will definitely be a fun and memorable journey, celebrating the one-of-a-kind 12th year of PyCon HK. A briefing will be provided to align expectations, objectives and goals of the event. The team will be supporting you along the way. Volunteers may be required to join progress updates online or in person to align with preparations.
