Our Medical Donations department helps ensure that valuable medical supplies and equipment reach people in need, both locally and around the world. Through careful sorting, checking, and preparation of donations, volunteers play an important role in supporting humanitarian and healthcare initiatives. This is a practical, hands-on opportunity to make a tangible difference while being part of a dedicated and supportive team. What we need: -Sorting and organising donated medical supplies and equipment so that they can be delivered -Checking items for quality and suitability -Packing and labelling medical donations for distribution -Keeping the medical department tidy and well-organised -Assisting with inventory and record-keeping -Some medical background knowledge -You might also welcome and supervise new volunteers to the department The schedule is flexible depending on the availability of the volunteer (between Tuesday - Saturday). If you can come at least 2 days a week, for 3 to 6 months, to help prepare and manage medical donations, we would love to hear from you!

You’ll receive a friendly orientation and on-the-job training so you know exactly what to do. Our Managers are nearby to answer questions and help out. We provide clear information about your tasks and a fully-equipped department. The Medical Department is essential for people who are in need. With our organisation being fully ran by volunteers, your assistance is very much needed! Your time and effort will directly support Crossroads Foundation’s mission of bringing hope and practical help to people facing hardship.
