Donation Department Assistant Manager

Our Processing Departments play a vital role in helping Crossroads provide aid to people in need locally and around the world. As a Donation Department Assistant Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of a department, help coordinate volunteers, and ensure donated goods are prepared for distribution. What we need: -Sorting and inspecting donated goods to make sure they meet quality standards. -Organising items by category (such as clothing, furniture, medical supplies, and more). -Packing goods safely and efficiently for storage or shipment. -Assisting with inventory and updating records using our stock systems. -Keeping the processing area tidy and well-organised. -Supporting other departments or special projects if needed. -Leading occasional volunteers, explaining and allocating tasks to them. -Working close together with our processing department manager, and other regular volunteers. min Commitment 2 days a week from Tuesdays to Saturdays 9:30 AM - 5:00PM -Assist the manager with leading one of our Processing departments (Clothing, Bikes, Household, Computers, Electrical, Medical, Books, Stationary) The schedule requires a minimum commitment of 2 days per week, between Tuesday and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you can commit to supporting and helping lead one of our Processing Departments for 3 to 6 months, we would love to hear from you!
